Health and Fitness

This class is formulated to expand students’ awareness of their health through exercise, learning about muscles and other body parts, movement and identifying healthy foods. In addition to exercising their bodies, they will exercise their brains.

CURRICULUM

Caring for Personal Health

  • Knowledge of Good Health
  • Grooming and Hygiene
  • Learning body parts, how they function

Fitness

  • Movement and exercises
  • Participants will take turns leading exercises and choosing music they wish to exercise too
  • In order to exercise their brains, participants will do special exercises ad puzzles
  • Exercise lecture videos, music, and demonstrations will also be used to supplement and reinforce the information presented to the class
