Purpose of this class is to teach participants with little or no speech how to communicate with the use of computerized speech generating devices.
Curriculum
Uses their devices to communicate:
- Answering questions
- Holding a conversation
- Pointing or learning how to use the device appropriately
- Construct sentences using symbols or typing words
- Learn to use other forms of communication like communication boards or books when devices are not working
