Participants will learn the joy of food preparation and make choices based on their body’s needs and their palate’s cravings. Emphasis is placed on the social aspects of eating with others, eating seasonally, preparing nutritious foods and trying new foods.

- Cleaning when finished
- Learning about healthy foods
- How to engage socially when dining with others
- Looking at recipes, cooking shows, etc. on the internet pertaining to the lesson plan
- Working individually or in groups on artistic and games activities that help participants learn about food, cooking, and nutrition
