Monique Harris

Monique Harris has been attending—and occasionally working for— Ability Now Bay Area for over 20 years. Since joining the Small Business Development Program five years ago, Monique has launched a successful graphic design business, Art Creations by Monique, selling prints, clothing, jewelry, and calendars. Monique also developed the “Communication at Ease” system, which is used by organizations serving people with disabilities. Day Morrow

Day Morrow has attended Ability Now Bay Area for 5 years, with most of his time spent in the Small Business Development Program creating and selling his unique works of art. Working in textiles, garments, yarn, and other soft forms, Day makes musically-inspired fashion and mixed-media sculptures. His work has been featured around the bay and can be purchased on Maker’s Paradise, a gallery and online store featuring local artists, or by contacting him through Ability Now.

Kaya Davis

Kaya Davis enjoys drawing and knitting on a small scale. She creates unique hand-made doll clothes, jewelry, dollhouse paintings, and human miniature origami earrings, which she sells on eBay and at Maker’s Paradise. She makes her own miniature art supplies like watercolor pallets from Altoids tins, handmade drawing pads, and tiny knitting needles.
